The dream that sparked this work was about a trip she took years ago to the mountains of Switzerland,still one of the most beautiful places she has ever experienced. She recalls the endless sky, the snow-capped peaks, and the lush green valley with water stretching below. The landscape was so breathtaking that it brought tears to her eyes, blurring the view as she tried to take it all in.
Just as there was so much beauty to absorb in that magical setting, there is much to explore within this painting. Titled Dream Escape, this 30” x 40” acrylic and chalk pastel on canvas features vibrant blues, yellows, pinks, and touches of green.
